Nodstrum CEO Fatima Sanders will be conducting a Holistic Seminar for busy professionals. The event will be held at the Nodstrum head office conference room with about 100 young entrepreneurs and companies such as Twiddy in attendance, as well as having their staff registered to attend. The goal of this seminar is to help young professionals focus better at work with the help of holistic approaches to handling stress, particularly work-related stress.
The seminar will begin at 8 in the morning and will probably last until 5 or 6 in the afternoon. During the morning session, there will be role playing, simulation and situational analysis scenarios to be played out. This will enable the participants to see the possible flaws in their daily habits which they may not even be noticing. This is usually caused by indifference, apathy or laziness. The objective of the seminar is to identify such obstacles and learn to address them properly.
Sanders will then point out these flaws to the participants and afterwards offer alternative approaches to handling such situations using holistic methods. These methods, when applied efficiently, will derive the desired results without any negative feedback or backlash. When that happens, you are most certainly able to eradicate stress entirely, if not minimize its effect on you as a person.
There will be an hour respite for lunch, where the participants will be eating catered food, which will be prepared by the Nodstrum Kitchen Force, who are backing the Holistic Approach 100%. The diet plays a major role for the participants, as it will put them in the mood and energized in time for the afternoon session.
Sanders points out the importance of having the seminar by saying, “These people attending the seminar are some of the luckiest people in the world. They are given the opportunity to change their lives for the better in order to make them more productive, more fulfilled professionals.” She further spoke of the positive effects of Holistic Approach: “In the earlier days, there were no such thing as holistic approach to anything. That is probably because life was so much simpler then.”
“There was no internet, no cable, no TiVo, no netflix. I mean, these things are supposed to help us fill our time, but the truth is, these things add up to our already toxic life. The need to be always connected, always in the know-have taken it’s toll on our generation. It’s time to de-stress, it’s time to detoxify. Try the holistic way and you can thank me later.”
