Practice what you preach. This is the underlying theme of this year’s company revisioning plan which Nodstrum hopes to achieve with all its employees. Since we are a health promoting organization, it is but fitting for us to be the leading by example. This is the easiest and most efficient way for us to convince people to try our methods and practices. When they see that we are living the life we are preaching to them, then it would be foolish of them not to want the same type of wellness.
The program is formulated by our team of resident experts who have modelled the program to fit our active lifestyle needs. To ensure flexibility, the program allows each individual staff to work on it on their own choice of time of day to do it. They also have the independence to choose which sets of regimen to follow. The program is designed so that no matter what choice you select, you will always get the desired results every single time.
Patricia Kilgor, who is the Program Director and Facilitator for this endeavor speaks at great length about it during the program launch which took place on February 5th. “As professionals working in the wellness sector, it should be incumbent upon us to be healthy, look healthy and stay healthy all the time. We tell people to take care of their health, but would they believe us if they see that we ourselves are not healthy? I highly doubt it.”
“Starting today, we shall embark on a journey to holistic wellness and stay on that path permanently. This is how the program should work for our clientele. Let us show them that it can be done, and this is how it’s done. We let our results do the talking. If they see that we have achieved our goals in the timeframe that we set for ourselves, then there is no excuse for them not to be able to do it themselves,” Kilgor continues.
She ends her talk by wishing all participants good luck. “I know you don’t need luck, and I know you don’t believe in luck because you know for a fact that hard work and determination is what you need to succeed in your plans. Luck has nothing to do with it. This shows people that they are in control of their lives and they can achieve the same results as we did.”
